Winter Baseball at All winter Legion
practices are voluntary and respect winter sport commitments, however
interested players with winter sports can still participate by making as
little as a half hour commitment to work on special items at specific
times
November 15 - March 15

Spring Baseball at fields available
All tryouts/practices are
designed to get to know the players and their abilities while respecting
player’s commitments to their respective spring sports

Entry level team tryouts after school and weekends
Summer Baseball as scheduled Summer Legion baseball is
a priority for scheduled games and practices while acknowledging that
family vacations and other sports may have practices, games or camps
during summer. Any absences
must be cleared with the player’s coach as soon as the date(s) of
absence becomes known. May 25 (or after high
school team disbands) to Aug 5 (later, if tournament eligible) Legion Varsity and JV
teams games are scheduled by March 1st. Schedules
are posted on website for vacation planning.
Lakeshore game scheduling takes
place in late April.

Summer Baseball Extra Practices All four Legion team
players can commit to extra practices at any time, usually weekday
afternoons, early evenings or weekends. Sessions are held at the
Municipal Field Player Development Facility and all equipment and
training aids are available.
Off
Season Baseball Sessions All year, with the
exception of Oct 1 to Nov 15 when we shut down all arms for six weeks, any Legion
player can contact two or three eligible buddies, then call to commit
for a time to schedule extra practice sessions.
